Healthcare · Telehealth

A telehealth platform that puts a clinician on screen in under a minute.

Booking, video consultation, notes and follow-up in one product, built so a patient can go from opening the app to speaking to a clinician without calling anyone.

The problem

Getting a routine medical opinion takes a phone call during office hours, a wait, and a journey. For anything non-urgent, most people simply skip it.

The brief was to close that gap without asking clinicians to change how they work. A patient needs to find an available clinician, book, attend a consultation and receive follow-up notes, all without a receptionist in the middle. Clinicians need a calendar they control, patient context before the call starts, and somewhere to write notes that does not involve a second system.

The hard part is not the video call. It is everything around it: matching availability across time zones, handling the patient who joins six minutes late, keeping clinical notes and identity data properly separated, and degrading gracefully when someone is on a weak mobile connection.

What we built

One product with two distinct experiences on top of a shared scheduling and records core: a patient app built for a first-time user, and a clinician view built for someone doing this twenty times a day.

  1. 01

    Clinician discovery and booking

Patients browse by specialty and real availability, not a request form. Slots are held while a booking is completed so two patients cannot take the same appointment.

  2. 02

    Availability and calendars

Clinicians set recurring availability with exceptions, and the app resolves it against the patient's own time zone so nobody has to do the arithmetic.

  3. 03

    Video consultations

In-app video with a pre-call device check, a waiting room, and reconnection handling for when a patient drops off mid-consultation.

  4. 04

    Clinical notes and records

Structured notes attached to each consultation, with a patient history a clinician can read before the call rather than during it.

  5. 05

    Reminders and follow-up

Automated reminders before an appointment and follow-up notes afterwards, which is what actually moves the no-show rate.

  6. 06

    Access control

Role-based permissions separating patients, clinicians and administrators, with identity data held apart from clinical records.
